The window to wall ratio (WWR) is 30%.  According to the Energy Efficient Building Code – Building Envelope Guideline (EEBC 2013), WWR should be between 30% -50%.
The louver system faced to the West on the second and third floors helps to prevent solar radiation from entering directly into the building

There is an atrium occupying 20% of the roof area to collect daylighting
All the glass of atrium is covered with a reflective film to reduce heat gain throughout the building.

Building Loads

Water pumping system
Installation of VSDs for four (3.5 kW) water pumps to control operation more efficiently, saving 50,000 kWh/year.

Commitment to energy efficiency policies
The energy policy on continual energy efficiency improvement was approved by the building management. Total energy consumption in 2015 is expected to be reduced by 7% in comparison with 2014.

An Integrated Building Management System (IBMS)controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment including centralised air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and pumping system.
This allows the technical team to precisely operate and monitor the energy consumption in the building.
Energy audit is carried every year.

There are 20 Qualified Technical Staff in several fields such as eletricity, electronics and plumbing.
There are 40,000 hours / year for management and maintenance work for the electrical systems.

Organisation of training courses to improve skills and exchange knowledge on issues of operation, maintenance and repairing of equipment.
