In 2004, he was visiting lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. In 2010 he became the General Director of the Institute of Tropical Architecture and in 2011 he founded an Energy Saving Consultancy affiliated to it.
He has carried out projects in Nai Hien Dong fishing village – Da Nang City (1996), K300 – housing for military officials and their families in Tan Binh District – Ho Chi Minh City (1999), developed Mong Cai Commercial Centre in Mong Cai province (2003), Song Da tower (2008) and participated in the restoration of the National Academy of Public Administration Office building (2012). He got a certificate of merit in the competition of housing for middle income people in Vietnam (2004), a third price in the competition of National Gates of border of Vietnam – Ministry of Construction (2007), a second price in the competition of rural housing of Vietnam from Vietnam Association of Architects (2008) and a second price in the international competition "Social Sustainability of Historical Districts" in Seoul, Korea – UNESCO (2009).
